I recently watched the ESPN 30 For 30 documentary "Hillsborough". This film was about the tragedy that occurred on April 15th, 1989 during the FA Cup Semi Final Match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forrest where 96 people were crushed and killed. It portrayed the tragedy, why it happened, how it could have been prevented, and the corruption in the police reports. Director Daniel Gordan was able to show why Hillsborough happened by showing the problems in the stadium. He also showed the corruption of the police by showing how they altered statements to make it look like the fans caused this tragedy which isn't the case. "Hillsborough" can be tough to watch at times, but I definitely recommend taking the time to watch it because it shows the truth about what happened on April 15, 1989.
